This hollow blown is a round ball ideal for small birds or mammals like mouse, rat, vole finch or robin where the natural iris is very dark. These eyes are often chosen where it is preferable not to have a pupil and therefore the direction of a look or gaze of the piece is not specific.

Fixing

Eyes of all kinds can be fitted in many different ways. If the eye is to be fitted into a wood substrate then a glue such as a two part epoxy glue can be used. If something  with a bit more body is required clay can be used or an epoxy putty can be used such as Apoxie Sculpt.

Apoxie Sculpt is a superb medium for all types of bedding and bonding.
