This style of eye is a standard series for fish sculpts/mounts and is the longest established eye series. These eyes are made in a flat dome shape and are hand painted. They show superb accuracy in relation to colour and the species they are designed for.

The diameter of the eye is measured at the widest point and is accurate to +/- 2% as a general estimate. These eyes are sold in pairs.

Fixing

Eyes of all kinds can be fitted in many different ways. If the eye is to be fitted into a wood substrate (stick making, carving or similar) then a glue such as a two-part epoxy glue can be used. If something with a bit more body is required clay can be used or an epoxy putty can be used such as Apoxie Sculpt.
